Kenny KP Walker Jr is a renaissance man. He is a spoken word artist, event host, producer, owner of record label Words Out Productions, actor and budding musician.
Some of Kenny’s biggest influences include Langston Hughes, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Fats
Waller, Cab Calloway and The Last Poets.
Kenny has used his spoken word talent to front 3 bands; PG Vibe, Straight Truth and Offshot. With Offshot, they produced a 5 song EP titled Funk Marks The Spot by Kenny Walker Jr and Offshot that can be found on all streaming platforms. In 2020, during the pandemic, Kenny released his first solo project titled Throwing Paper that can also be found on all streaming platforms. Kenny Walker Jr’s style is to mix spoken word with music, sounds and singing vocals.
In 2021, Kenny Walker Jr started a record label dedicated to producing spoken word, neo-soul and conscious hip hop cand Words Out Productions.
Currently Kenny Walker Jr host up to 6 open mic monthly in New Jersey’s Camden County, Gloucester County and Burlington County areas. Welcoming all forms of talents Kenny’s moto is “As soon as you walk through the door you are with family, so sit back relax and prepare to have a good time with family”.
